Yes. Word Hype is free to download and play, supported by ads. Paid subscriptions remove ads and unlock every pack and mode.

Does Word Hype work offline?
The core word games work offline. Optional on-device AI definitions and hints work after a one-time model download and never send your prompts to a server. Accounts, leaderboards, multiplayer and purchases need an internet connection.

Which exams does Word Hype cover?
There are dedicated word packs for IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, Cambridge English and PTE Academic, plus CEFR level pools from A1 to C2 and seven topic packs: Business & Career, Travel & Tourism, Technology & Science, Sports & Lifestyle, Food & Gastronomy, Cinema & Pop Culture and Daily Conversation & Idioms.

What game modes are there?
Four: Word Board (drag letters to build the word from its definition), Listen & Spell (hear the word, type it), Fill in the Blank (choose the right word inside a real paragraph) and Scenarios (complete real-life dialogues like ordering at a restaurant or a job interview).

How does the smart review work?
Words you save, miss or solve slowly are queued and come back in later sessions, so you repeat what you are about to forget instead of what you already know. You stay in control: you can always pick a pack, a level or a saved word to review on demand.

Is this a Wordle-style game?
It shares the quick, satisfying loop of a daily word puzzle, but every round is built from a curated vocabulary list with a definition, pronunciation and example, so you learn the word, not just guess it.

Which languages does the app support?
The vocabulary is English. With on-device AI enabled, explanations and translations can be shown in your native language — more than 20 are supported, including Turkish, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, German, French, Japanese and Korean. The app interface is currently in English.

Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad on the App Store, and Android phones and tablets on Google Play. On-device AI needs a reasonably recent device with enough memory; the app recommends a model that fits your phone, and the games work without it.
